Well things have been busy since I've moved to the hospital, so I haven't as much free time to update this. I think I've been here too long. Woke up to mortar fire and was too tired to roll out of bed. It is much cooler now in the 40s over night with day highs of 70s. TG days was ok the did decorate the DFAC (dining facility) for the holiday. As for X-mass, we can decorate as long as there is no religious symbols involved. I'm tired of the DFAC food and it's getting hard to eat the same ole meals. Tue and Thurs dinners is all I have to look forward to now. Tue is Mongolian and Thurs is Indian. Hope all is well back home. I've shot some video footage but they wont upload on here for some reason.
Ciao
Ian

Thanks for sharing some pics! I hope you have a good Christmas - hopefully you'll at least get a special meal for that!
Stay safe over there!
Thx Candice. It is relatively safe here. I can't say the same for those stationed at the outlying areas. I don't see many young kids with life altering injuries, but they do come through on occasions
Thank you so much for sharing the pics! I hope that everyone is you stay safe over there. Have an odd question, I have a contact for that unit, but understandably, I have not heard back from them yet. I want to send something really special for the unit as a gift. I tried looking up on google for the name of the CO or Chaplain, but all I'm finding is stuff from 2006 unless I'm not going back far enough. My only request with this gift is that it stays there until the last person comes home. How can I find out the CO's name so I can send it there without it being returned?
Oops, sorry meant to say everyone including you stay safe over there. Have not had my morning coffee yet. Can you e-mail me a list of what everyone there would like to have in your non existent spare time or put it in your blog? Thanks!
just send me an email with ur info and i'll pass it on.
